In the event of an emergency or disaster, we may activate the Municipal Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) to function as a "mission control."
The Emergency Operations Centre is a facility where key personnel from our three municipalities and other agencies gather to support and coordinate a response to the emergency.
It may be difficult to make local phone calls after an emergency. Find out how to stay in touch with your family.
During certain types of emergencies, it may be safer for you to evacuate the area and go to family or friends, or an emergency reception centre.
Disaster response routes are not evacuation routes for the public. They are for emergency vehicles during a disaster.
